The village elder of a village in Medieval West Africa has asked you to honor him with a song. You decide to write a song that will please the elder.
So I was ask to make a song to honor a Village elder. I was kind of nervous to do a song (like people do here in west Africa)But,I said yes Anyways. :)
As i was thinking, and thinking, and thinking . . . I finally found a P E R F C T song to sing. A call and responds song !!!!!
So as I was thinking of some lyrics to go good with the call and responds song Something big . . HUGE . . . Brilliant POPPED in my head. I GOT THE LYRICS I said to my self out loud. I was super happy so I wrote them down, didn't sound that good.I was up all night trying to find the perfect lyrics to go good with the honoring.
I finally got the song that I wanted to sing for the guy that I honoring.

There was drums in the background, and people were clapping at the same time. The elder Guy was very happy and was wearing beautiful robes. His wisdom and that of his Griot are so important to the tradtions of there people.
